R2C Group Adds Senior Radio Executive
Radio Veteran Joins Ranks of Direct Response Ad Agency
WEST CHESTER, Penn. – February 13, 2012 – R2C Group ®, the industry’s largest independent direct response advertising agency, today announced Askin Emir has joined the Cmedia team as an account director. Askin will oversee the agency’s DR print and radio strategy, planning, and buying executions. In addition, she will act as the client liaison for several of the agency’s key clients, overseeing campaigns to ensure they meet clients’ overall marketing goals and objectives.
Askin comes to Cmedia and R2C Group with more than 15 years of experience managing media campaigns for clients spanning national, local, digital, mobile, AM/FM, satellite radio and podcasts. She previously served as vice president of media for The Radio Agency and media director for Radio Direct Response. Some of her notable clients were Cintas, DirecTV, WebEx, Dice.com, Reputation Defender, iContact.com, and LivingSocial.com
Askin also brings R2C Group her international experience managing traditional and digital radio campaigns in England for U.S.-based clients. Additionally, she handled advertising campaigns in an agency in Istanbul, Turkey that specializes in radio where she provided media planning and buying services for global brands through Zenith Media and McCann Erickson.
Askin holds a Master’s Degree in Advertising from the University of Florida. As a regular guest speaker at Temple University, Askin has covered international advertising and marketing, as well as media planning and buying. Most recently, as a panelist at the RAIN Summit East in 2010, Askin discussed new media strategies for internet radio.
