Portland to Host 2011 Cmedia National TV Media Summit
90+ media representatives from around the country gather in Portland later this week
PORTLAND, Ore. – August 1, 2011 – Cmedia, the media-planning and media-buying company within R2C Group ®, will hold its annual media summit on August 3-5, 2011 in Portland, Ore. The media summit will bring more than 90 media executives from digital media and TV broadcast stations, national and regional cable networks, and satellite organizations across the country to experience the finest Northwest hospitality, activities, food, wine and spirits. The 2010 summit was the first to be held in Portland – an event that had previously been hosted in New York City and Los Angeles. After the successful Portland event a year ago, Cmedia will again bring these influential media executives to Portland in 2011. Representatives from television industry leaders, such as Viacom, NBCUniversal, CBS, MTV, ESPN, Turner Broadcasting, Time Warner, Comcast and DirecTV, will spend three days experiencing the best of the Pacific Northwest.
Cmedia developed this summit to support its strong relationships with media and show the company’s appreciation for its media partners. The summit gives media reps and media-buyers an opportunity to discuss marketplace trends and build relationships that improve and enhance ongoing business together.

The summit will begin with an opening outdoor reception featuring nine uniquely Portland food carts. Our city’s food carts have received national attention for their ingenious culinary delights and trend-setting approach to food service, thus making them a great way to kick off this three-day event.

Carriere, Rex Hill and Sineann Wines.
