Cmedia Captures Top DRTV Rankings for 2010
PORTLAND, Ore. – January 13, 2011 – Cmedia, the media-planning and -buying team within R2C Group, today announced it bought and managed strategic media campaigns for five of the top 20 infomercials and six of the top 40 short-form direct response spots throughout 2010.
These 2010 rankings are based on year-long research gathered by the Infomercial Monitoring Service, Inc. (IMS), an independent research firm that monitors 49 national TV networks 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Cmedia managed multiple infomercial campaigns for Euro-Pro and its Shark brand of housewares, as well as campaigns for long-time industry heavyweights Total Gym and Bare Escentuals. The Cmedia team also placed and managed short-form direct response media for eDiets, Fitness Quest, Inc., Lavi Enterprises, All Star Products and ICON Health and Fitness.
IMS rankings are based on the frequency of programs and spots aired on the national cable networks monitored by IMS from November 1, 2009 through October 31, 2010.
