Sr. Media Account Executive

This position reports to Cmedia, the media buying company of R2C Group.

Summary of Position:

As a Media Sr. Account Executive, manage successful direct response TV and integrated multi-channel campaigns, monitor client budgets and ensure your clients remain happy. Great opportunities await those with passion for the client.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 7 + years prior Account Executive
  • Skilled at managing key clients strategy, execution and course correction as needed.
  • Solid & proven experience in client services (includes but not limited to, client management, project management, broadcast production, print or web experience)
  • Able to handle multiple accounts in different stages
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access (a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior advertising and Direct Response marketing experience and/or broadcast production experience
  • Education: BS/BA
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategize, manage and coordinate every aspect of assigned campaigns, including:

New client and new offer test set-up

Contract requests & Invoice set-up with Accounting

Present test proposals to client

Able to understand/manage telemarketing, fulfillment as it is connected to media performance

New Campaign Announcement – ensure all elements are present to get campaign up and running

Test analyses: compare creative & media performance, offers, telemarketing tests, etc. for various tests

Produce and manage project timelines, cost estimates and meeting recaps

  • Communicate on regular basis with the client by phone and e-mail while issuing daily reports & weekly summary reports:

Ensure campaign is hitting goals and budget

Provide new opportunities and sell in what is working

Solid understanding of DR process and client goals

Work with various departments and vendors to ensure campaigns are hitting client targets (budgets clearing, cost per order or ratio goals)

Liaison between client and agency by maintaining regular contact with both and ensuring that communication flows effectively

Follow-up with the client in regards to throughput, conversion, and offer configurations

Some client travel
