Account Supervisor

Summary of Position:

As the largest, independently owned direct response agency, the R2C Group continually strives to be innovative, inspiring and effective. The Account Supervisor is the primary contact with Respond2 clients. You will work closely with clients to identify needs and business objectives, then implement services to help achieve client goals. At Respond2 the Account Supervisor is responsible for retaining and growing existing client business and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary client contact for assigned accounts
  • Responsible for client retention, by maintaining a clear understanding of the clients’ needs and communicating these throughout all departments within the R2C Group as necessary to meet/exceed client expectations
  • Provide thought leadership to help guide clients in the direct response space
  • Work with Director of Client Services to identify risks and opportunities
  • Produce and manage campaign briefs, timelines, status reports and budgets
  • Lead internal teams to deliver the highest quality work on time and on budget
  • Support profitability for the company and save costs for the client
  • Responsible for client entertainment
  • Facilitate all contracts (MSA, SOWs, Cost Estimates, Change Orders, NDAs)
  • Promote a positive work environment that fosters motivation, encouragement, recognition and appreciation, respect and teamwork

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related industry experience, preferably agency and direct marketing experience
  • Solid and proven experience in client services
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and advertising with emphasis on direct marketing, interactive media, broadcast and new emerging trends
  • Ability to sell full suite of Respond2 services including broadcast, print, radio and interactive services
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment on multiple projects with tight timelines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Some travel required

  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, management experience an asset but not required
